Skii Harvey & bandI was recently asked to art direct a film clip by Harvey House Productions, a very talented duo indeed! The singer is Skii Harvey, recording for her new album, Foolish Girl.
The idea for the background was to use paper- an element that is both strong yet fragile at the same time. We liked the idea that the paper has a soft, feminine and timeless quality to it... and will tie in with some surprise elements in post production.... watch this space!
We managed to source some relatively cheap materials from Reverse garbage, which is great for finding industrial offcuts and random recycled materials, in our case about 500 sheets of paint sample paper!
